The world wide Earth Day is on the 22nd of April. It is a time when issues around the climate change crisis, air pollution and deforestation will take the centre stage. As awareness around these issues raises, protecting the planet becomes closer to people's hearts than ever before. And we are grateful for that.
Here at Pledger we are passionate about all of our causes, but leading up to Earth Day we want to spotlight a Cause with a particularly simple yet powerful mission.

Pledger loves simple yet powerful ideas and this one from Just One Tree is great! Every pound donated means one more tree is planted. This cause funds reforestation projects around the world to help combat climate change through the amazing carbon absorbing qualities of trees.
This simple act makes a huge impact. Climate Change emergency means that the planet is warming up. To keep Global Warming to less than 1.5-2 degrees we need to reach net-negative emissions. This means removing and storing more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than we're putting into it. And how can we do that? By planting trees.
What’s more JUST ONE Tree concentrate on restoring the entire ecosystem by planting on-land, in the oceans and helping to bring environmental education into the classrooms.
Not only does this help reduce atmospheric carbon but also improves biodiversity making the world a much better place so win win!!!
