Select Eligible Collections
Applying Pledger to All Products / All Collections
If you select this option, all of our products become eligible for donations. Customers will see Pledger widgets on every product in your store. If you are donating as a store, you will be donating from every product in the store.
Upsell with donations widget will appear only on the products you select.
Applying Pledger to Collections
Only products in eligible collections will be donated from to causes chosen by you and/or your customers. To customise a set of products eligible for giving we recommend creating a Pledger Collection.
Affiliating a cause to a specific collection
You can give to a specific cause from a specific collection or collections.
This means that, for example, you can give to an environmental Charity from your eco line and a social charity from one or more other collections.
Here is how to do this:
1. Select all of the Causes that you want to donate to on Causes screen
2. Head to 'Product' screen
3. Select ' Pledge to my causes on specific collections in my store'
4. Click on 'Advanced' -> Each collection has a different cause -> SAVE
5. Now choose collections by ticking the box next to each collection you choose and causes to affiliate each collection to from the drop down and click SAVE again.
Note that if you choose store giving only option, a pop up widget will show at the end of the purchase if a product or products in an order were affiliated with a cause. The pop up will only show the cause that the product or products were affiliated with.
Sync your collections with Pledger
When making changes to your product and/or giving settings in Pledger, be sure to hit 'Sync' in the Product>Collections section. This will ensure your changes are applies to all new collections
Changing your selection
You can change which products you pledge from at any time - remember to Sync Collections when using Collections selection.
